Day 01. Delhi
Fly from your country to New Delhi, upon arrival you will be greeted at airport.
Transfer to Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 02. Delhi
Breakfast at Hotel and leave for the full day sightseeing of old and new Delhi.
Visiting Jamia Mosque, Crematory of Mahatma Gandhi, enjoy rikshaw ride in narrow
alleys of old Delhi through Kinari Bazar and Chandni chowk. Return to Hotel
for overnight stay.
Day 03. New Delhi - Amritsar (By Train Shatabadi Express)
Morning at 0740 board India's fastest train Shatabadi express for Amritsar.
Arrive & board your pre-arranged car to check in at Hotel. Afternoon sightseeing
of Jalia Walan Bagh and Golden Temple whcih is the origin of Sikh religion.
Return to Hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04. Amritsar - Dharmshalla (200 Km, 04 hours)
Morning leave for Dharmshalla, arrive and check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit
around the residence of His Holiness Dalai Lama and Buddhist monetary where
from his Holiness deliver Buddhist religious speaches. Return to Hotel for overnight
stay.
Day 05. Dharmshalla - Shimla (240 km, 08 hours)
Breakfast at Hotel & leave for Shimla, arrive and check in at Hotel. Afternoon
visit Mall road to watch spectacular sun set and enjoy surrouding environment
of this superb hill station at the altitude of 2200 MSL. Return to Hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 06. Shimla - Rampur (130 Km, 03 hours)
Morning leave for Rampur via Hattu Pass at the altitude of 3400 meters above
sea level. Continue your drive and arrive Rampur was once the capital of Busheher
State and is situated at the banks of river Satluj. This is the commercial place
of Himachal pradesh. Afternoon visit Palace of Bushehar state and surrounded
temples.
Day 07. Rampur - Sarahan (56 Km, 02 hours)
Breakfast at Hotel & leave for Sarahan at the altitude of 2100 meters above
sea level. Arrive and check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit very old local temples
built in Pagoda style. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 08. Sarahan - Sangla (130 Km, 04 hours)
Morning leave for Sangla at the altitude of 2700 meters above sea leavel. Arrive
& check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit local Buddhist temples. Return to Hotel
for overnight stay.
Day 09. Sangla - Nakko (160 Km, 06 hours)
Morning leave for Nakko is at the altitude of 3800 meters above sea level. Arrive
and check in at Hotel. Afternoon visit local Buddhist Monastaries and enjoy
the surrounding environment of this high altitude place. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10. Nakko - Tabo (100 Km, 03 hours)
Breakfast at Hotel and leave for Tabo at the altitude of 3050 meters above sea
level, arrive and check in at Hotel, afternoon visit thousand years old monastery
and so cave where Lamas were worshiping in the former Days. Return to Hotel
for overnivght stay.
Day 11. Tabo - Dhankar (50 Km, 02 hours)
Leave for Dhankar at the altitude of 3800 meters above sea level and your stay
will be here in the monastery. Afternoon watch the religious activities in the
monestary. Overnight in Monestary guest house.
Day 12. Dhankar - Kaza (40 Km, 01 hours)
Morning leave for Kaza at the altitude of 3650 meters above sea level and is
headquater of Spiti, arrive and check in at. Afternoon visit local markets and
monastaries. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 13. Kaza
Morning leave for the sightseeing of highest vegetation village in the world
Kiber at the altitude of 4200 meters above sea level. You will visit here surrounding
Buddhist monasteries and drive to visit Key monastery. Return to Hotel for overnight
stay.
Day 14. Kaza - Jespa (160 Km, 08 hours)
Morning leave for Jespa at the altitude of 3000 meters above sea level via Kunzun
La pass at the altitude of 4560 Continue your drive & reach to Tandi where
two rivers of Himalay as namely Chandra & Bagga have the confluence with
terrific flow of the water. After here this river is popularly known as Chenab.
Continue your drive to reach Keylong which is headquarters of district Lahul
& Sipiti & finally reach to Jespa, arrive & check in at the super
deluxe tents on the banks of river Chandra. Afternoon visit local villages of
Jespa situated on 3300 meters above sea level & Buddhist monastery where
biggest festival of Kalchakra was organized by Dalai Lama in July 1994. Return
to your tents for the dinner & overnight stay.
Day 15. Jespa – Sarchu 4200 MSL (120 Km, 05 hours)
After breakfast drive to Sarchu & your first stop will be at Dharcha and
another at Baralacha La 4870 MSL. Afterwards drive to Sarchu, arrive & check
in at same super deluxe tents. Afternoon visit panoramic view of the beautiful
god made natural high peaks & mountains. Overnight at the tents.
Day 16. Sarchu – Leh 3330 MSL (272 Km, 09 hours)
Morning leave for Leh, first of all you will enjoy to reach at LaChungLa which
is on 5000 meters above sea level after then reach to Pang 4950 MSL. After Pang
you have to go up 15 Km and you will drive 42 Km on plains surrounded by high
peaks & mountains. Here this is superb to watch 42 km plain land on 5000
meters. After the you have go up to reach world’s second highest motorable
pass TANG-LANG-LA on 5378 meters above sea level. Afterwards drive to Leh via
beautiful villages & river Indus. Arrive Leh & check in at Hotel for
overnight stay.
Day 17 August Leh
Leh is on 3300 MSL, it is necessary to acclimatize for a day. Evening take a
stroll to a nearby village known as Chengespa, where you can see one of the
oldest chorten. Overnitht at Hotel with all meals.
Day 18 August. Leh
Breakfast at Hotel and leave to visit Stok Palace Museum, the Queen of Ladakh
still lives in this Palace and partly it has been converted into museum. More
than palace it is the surrounding views of Barron Mountains and formation which
are extraordinary. Gentle flow of Indus is another attraction. Return back to
Hotel enroute SOS children camp of Tibetien and finally time to roam in the
Bazzars of Leh. Afternoon a walk to the fort of ladakh. Overnight at Hotel with
all meals.
Day 19 August. Leh – Shey – Thiksey - Hemis – Leh
(day trip)
Breakfast at Hotel & drive to Shey, the summer palace of royal family, a
lake in front of it. In front of it Holiness ?Dalai lama has also his Ladakh
residence. A small drive ahead takes you to Thiksey where you can see the biggest
Buddha statue. Finally to the most revered and richest monastery of Ladakh The
Hemis, this monetary is nestled between two mountains and has many a thing of
great importance. Return back to Hotel for overnight stay
Day 20 August. Leh – Uletopko (120 km, 04 hours)
Morning leave for Uletopko enroute visit at Monastery at Rizong, the school
where young Lamas are taught Buddhism, finally arrive at your Uletopko camp.
For sake of words this is a camp site however, location of this camp site and
facilities puts this camp in many ways better than a Hotel. You are surrounded
by peaches and apple trees and you are right on a Hill Cliff over the river
Indus. Overnight at Hotel with all meals.
Day 21 August. Uletopko – Leh (120 km, 04 hours)
Breakfast at camp and leave for Leh enroute visit at most important The Alchi
Monastery has murals dating back to 11th centaury and is perhaps one of the
oldest monastery in Ladakh. Drive towards Ladakh and another stop will be Pyang
Monastery and finally at Spituk Monastery. Arrive back at Leh & check in
your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 22. August. Leh – Delhi (By Flight)
Transfer to Leh airport to board flight for New Delhi. Explore full day in busy
markets & after farewell dinner transfer to Delhi International Airport
to board flight back to your country
